South Jersey for LIVESTRONG and Jersey Shore Area for LIVESTRONG have combined once again to enter the battle grounds and fight cancer and we need your help!!!! We are looking for team members to join our fight and get a little dirty while we do it.

 

The Bill Bottino Mud Run is back again. Join us on September 15, 2012 for four miles of muddy, mucky, obstacle challenges and most of all, fun! This is a family-friendly event!!
There is a kids mud run, tailgate, cash bar, live music and BBQ. There is a clean version (BBQ only) and volunteer signup for those who don't like playing in the mud.

3)  Follow the registration steps as an "Individual/Team Member"
4)  Select "Jersey LIVESTRONG Mudders" from the drop down menu

No one fights cancer alone, so prepare to work together and support one another as you crawl, climb, jump, and scramble through the muddy course and finish in grand style at our Signature Mud Pit. Then it’s off to the BBQ for some of the most amazing food you have had at any event! Finally, our very moving candlelight walk will remind everyone of the reasons why we fight cancer as we honor the survivors of this fight. Become a part of our family…Let’s Kick Cancer in the Mud!

By supporting our team you will directly help people fighting cancer.  Here in New Jersey we work to raise awareness about LIVESTRONG, and their FREE support services like their One-on-One Support, Navigation Services, LIVESTRONG Guidebooks and so much more.  We also work closely with our community leaders, hospitals, The Cancer Institute of New Jersey and numerous other non-profits to ensure the LIVESTRONG FREE services are given to people fighting cancer.

Philly LIVESTRONG Challenge

August 18-19, 2012

The Team LIVESTRONG Challenge Philly will once again take to the streets of Blue Bell and the surrounding countryside for what has become one of LIVESTRONG's most successful fundraising events.  This family-friendly event at the Montgomery County Community College offers participation and volunteer options for everyone, regardless of experience.


On Saturday, August 18th, Join us out on the 5K run/walk course or test your limits with the 10K course.  If you prefer to spend your time on two wheels, register for the Sunday ride with distances ranging from 10-100 miles.  Our ride courses wind and dip through the rolling and scenic countryside.  And if you'd like to make a weekend out of it, sign up for both.


Please keep in mind that any participant registered for a cycling event will be required to raise $250 in addition to the registration fee.


Each cancer survivor will receive a yellow rose coming through the finish chute.  And every participant receives a t-shirt and a water bottle as well as access to our Hospitality Tent for lunch following the run and ride.  Our sponsors and vendors fill the LIVESTRONG Village with all sorts of cool products and services for you to learn about.  Staff and volunteers will be located throughout the venue all weekend to make sure that you're having the experience of a lifetime.
